From 14th to 15th there was the first international forum in Kaluga - “Smart City. Instruction for use”. Participants of the forum were Minister of construction, housing and communal services of Russia Vladimir Yakushev, Deputy Minister Andrey Chibis, Governor of Kaluga region Anatoly Artamonov, Governor of Ryazan region Vladimir Lyubimov, coordinator of urban planning department and design of UN programme about human settlements (UN-habitat) Shipra Narang, the head of Kaluga city Dmitriy Razumovsky, as well as representatives of regional ministries and agencies responsible for housing and communal services and digitalization.
At the stand of Kaluga region Plant Vodopribor demonstrated the fully functional working model of the system – “Vodopribor Accounting” intended for communal resources accounting in automatic regime. The represented model in most cases is applicable for medium sized cities or for the territories of not compact planning. The system uses the technology of data transmission called Lora/LoRaWAN.
Based on the results of work with most regions, agreements were reached on the use of the "Vodopribor Accounting" system in the implementation of smart city projects and the deployment of the system in various regions and municipalities.
The system of "Vodopribor Accounting" represents a hardware-software complex, consisting of metering equipment, necessary pipeline fittings, various constructive elements of lines and software, transmitting equipment. When modeling the system for specific tasks, various data transfer technologies can be used, for example, Nb-IoT, M-bus, LoRa, LoRaWAN, as well as wired and bypass versions of the system. The high quality of metrology and consumer properties of all elements of the system remain unchanged, because all equipment is produced directly in the walls of the plant.

Such an integrated approach to the implementation of projects and guarantees of e "Vodopribor Accounting" system efficiency will form the basis of digital transformation and implementation of smart city projects in the Russian Federation.
